Today we are celebrating the three-month anniversary of the release of The Irish Within Us. Our online and Zoom events have brought together old and new friends. The love for stories set in Ireland is strong and the feedback is encouraging. Our first review came courtesy of Foreword Clarion. Of course, it’s always heartening to receive media attention. My first interview is in the monthly community paper, The New Edinburgh News. It’s on the website here. I am happy to receive comments and feedback or answer questions from readers on our website, Facebook or Goodreads. I’ll be continuing to engage with readers in August and September in the U.K. Details will follow.
In the meantime, online sales are increasing. Check the links on our “Where to Buy” page at electricstreetbooks.ca. Bookstores are stocking the book, so please share pictures and locations with us at chief.witch@electricstreetbooks.ca wherever you find The Irish Within Us. The public libraries are also including the book in their collections – ask your local library to acquire it so your neighbours can enjoy it too.
I continue to work on my second novel. I will be sharing more information on that soon. It expands upon The Irish Within Us with other viewpoints.
